Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup lentils
  • 1 potato
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 g of grated ginger
  • olive oil

Preparation instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the finely chopped garlic and onion on it.
  2. Wash the lens and add it to the sherpa and pour 1.5 liters of water.
  3. Add diced carrots and potatoes.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste, add grated ginger and bay leaf.
  5. After the soup boils, reduce the heat and let it cook for another twenty minutes until the soup thickens.
  6. Before serving, remove the bay leaf and the soup is ready to eat.
